There is no generation gap when it comes to Beverly Roper, resident of
Baptist Village of Owasso
who recently enjoyed a visit from some 4th Graders from Barnes Elementary School in Owasso.
Beverly, who always has a witty joke on the tip of her tongue, has an easy rapport with everyone
she meets. During the children's recent visit to the Village, Beverly showed them some of
her favorite games on a computer in the activity room. The laughter and obvious enjoyment
shared by the group was heart warming. The Computer is one of several donated to the Village
by HelpingTulsa. Baptist Village is a not-for-profit retirement community whose mission is
to provide quality housing and compassionate health care in a Christian environment. Steve
Thomas, Campus Administrator together with Arvella McCollom, Assistant Administrator are
thankful for contributions such as the computer that contribute to enhancing the lives of the
residents in the Village. Activity Directors, LeaAnne Rymel and Holly Wagar are rewarded for
their efforts as they continue to create purposeful opportunities with such positive outcomes.
Residents and staff of Baptist Village of Owasso join together in heartily thanking HelpingTulsa
for their outstanding efforts in locating the Village as the recipient of such a gift!
